a year end scarf

With the first one finished, I can hardly wait to start the second.

What I refer to is the Koigu Linen Stitch Scarf!  A knit scarf that mimics a true weaved scarf.

This is a great pattern to use up all our precious sock yarn leftovers or to select various skeins of multi-color fiber for a fun scarf all your own.  The piece is truly magical and one you just can't get wrong!
I used a skein each of Koigu KPPM, #105D, #118L and #852 and knit the piece on #6 needles.
My scarf was knit using "Tips" from Yarn Paradise.  The piece was all knit on the right side.  At the end of a row, I did not turn my work.  Instead, I slide the knitting from the left hand end  of the needle to the right hand end.  Always have the work facing you.
This is a wonderful take along and social project.  I plan to start my next one this week and plan on reds/pinks/oranges! The Brighter The Better!

Happy New Years to my blogging and knitting friends!
